Health kit

Health kits are the most used items of all. You can hold ten of them, and depending where you are they will vary in look and healing ability. The Health kits will save your life many times throughout the game, so use them!

Armor

You also use armor, and if you get damaged, the only way to replace it is to find some body armor. You will pick up and use body armor as soon as you find it (If your armor counter is below 100), and it comes in three varieties (Light, Medium, and Heavy). Each one repairs your armor a bit more. These are vital to your success in the game, because you wont last long without armor.

Your reflexes

Your reflexes are one of your things that make you truly stand out from your teammates. Unfortunately, in reflex or "Matrix mode", you can only spend a short time like that before you go back to normal mode. Thankfully, you can increase that amount of time. The Reflex Booster will increase the amount of time you can remain in Reflex mode by 2.5 seconds, which can make a big difference. These pickups are rare though, so keep an eye out for them.

The rarest pickup is the Health Booster. Each Health Booster will raise your health by five points, which can mean the difference between life and death. Because these pickups are so rare, theyyou will not want to miss a single one! Be careful though, as these will probably be guarded by soldiers, or watched by Alma...

Downloadable items and phone messages

Throughout the game you will find alot of downloadable items which you can read and upload to Comissioner Betters to help you on your mission. Phone messages cannot be uploaded to Comissioner Betters, but are nontheless important. Both will help further your understanding of the storyline plus your and the other characters past. Some may even give you clues on how to complete an objective, so don't miss any.
